Overview
About The Cluster
The Cluster is an owner-run coworking and event space in Summertown, Oxford, created for people who want a more personal and characterful alternative to a conventional office. Its independent, community-led feel brings together freelancers, remote workers, founders, small businesses and creative professionals in a relaxed setting where focused work and friendly conversation sit comfortably side by side. The workspace offers flexible desks, hot-desking and longer-term desk options, with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, wired internet, comfortable workstations and useful equipment to support productive days. There are areas for quiet concentration as well as spaces for collaboration, making it easy to settle in for a few hours, work alongside others or find a more permanent base away from home. Practical facilities include a sound-dampened phone booth for private calls, meeting space and The PodBox OX podcast studio. The outdoor yard adds another dimension, providing room for fresh air, informal conversations, creative sessions and events. An on-site café or coffee shop supplies refreshments and food, helping the space feel more like a welcoming neighbourhood hub than a standard desk rental. The atmosphere is warm, quirky and sociable without being distracting. Community activities include craft fairs, creative workshops, acoustic events and informal opportunities to meet other independent professionals. Whether you are a freelancer seeking company, a remote worker looking for a change of scene, a startup finding its feet or a small team needing a flexible base, The Cluster offers a friendly place to work, connect and develop ideas.
